Wiped Film Evaporator also called as Short Path Distillation Unit (SPDU) mainly used to purify temperature sensitive & thermally degrading products by evaporation. The thin film formed on the precise machined wall of evaporator is wiped by blades that maintain a close clearance from the shell, ensure evaporation of low boilers which are sucked under vacuum inside and condensed by inbuilt condenser. This equipment is suitable for viscous liquid.
