Static Mixers
Static Mixers
Static mixers are well established and widespread in all fields of chemical process technology. It is characteristically for static mixers, that, in contrast to dynamic mixers, only the media to be mixed are in motion. Different mediums to be mixed, 2 or more streams, are allowed to get mixed by passing through, geometrically strong defined H&MT mixing elements, using Pump Force Energy, providing all the energy required to complete the mixing by creating simple required pressure drop / velocity profile / swirling / turbulence/ spreading actions, with no motors / moving parts or any auxiliary power input, eliminating maintenance and downtime within the process.
H&MT SMX Mixer :
The H&MT SMX mixer has been the benchmark in static mixing applications for more than 3 decades. It consists of a grid of inclined bars available in a variety’s of sizes. This construction repeatedly divides the components to be mixed into layers and spreads them over the entire cross section of the pipe.
H&MT SMV Mixer :
The SMV mixer is made from corrugated plates that form open, intersecting channels in which flow is divided into many sub streams. These mixers are generally used in transitional and turbulent flow regimes generally to intensify the mass transfer between immiscible liquids. These mixers are most suitable for gas mixing applications.
